Undated collect photograph of Kitty Thorne (right), who turned 100 in January. She has been a supporter of Bristol Rovers all her life. See SWNS story SWOLD; Britain's oldest female football fan has revealed the secret to her long life coffee, corned beef sandwiches and watching her beloved Bristol Rovers. Sprightly Kitty Thorne, who's just celebrated her 100th birthday, travelled by STEAM TRAIN to watch her first Rovers match in October 1954. At the time Winston Churchill was Prime Minister and meat had just been removed from World War II rationing lists. Since then she has made the 52-mile round trip from Trowbridge, Wilts, on around 1,500 occasions to see her team in action.
