The Inbetweeners is the TV show Brits would most like to see ‘rebooted’, according to a survey.
A poll of 2,000 telly enthusiasts found one in four would like to see the popular comedy brought back and updated for modern audiences.
Second on the list of most 'rebootable' TV shows was Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which ran for seven series between 1997 and 2003.
Other shows Brits want to bring back to life from the 1990s and noughties include Ugly Betty, Skins and Desperate Housewives.
The poll was conducted by streaming service NOW TV, whose spokesman said: “It now looks like noughties TV is starting to make millennials feel nostalgic.''
The study also found 55 per cent of Brits want to see their favourite show rebooted because they miss beloved characters.
Others specifically want to see the return of high school couples like Lisa & Will in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Seth & Summer from The OC.
It also emerged three quarters of Brits admitted to going back to watch their favourite shows time and time again, with the average re-watching a single series over six times beginning to end.
And one in 10 have sat through the entire run of a beloved show a huge 15 times or more, according to the research conducted via OnePoll.
Fans of The Hills may even be going back to re-watch the original series in preparation for the reboot, as almost half of people surveyed said they would want to catch up on classic storylines ahead of their favourite show making a comeback.

The Hills: New Beginnings will see the hotly anticipated reunion between Audrina Patridge and Justin Bobby as well as Brody Jenner, Stephanie Pratt, Frankie Delgado, Whitney Port and Jason Wahler.
