Those who order certain items from the supermarket giant, including freshly baked rolls, chocolate and even nappies could find some tech upgrades in their bags instead.
Between April 7-18, Tesco Mobile is delving into the nation’s shopping bags to sneakily insert brand new gadgets into their orders.
New iPhones, smart watches and headphones are also among some of the tech upgrades lucky shoppers may receive in their shopping at random.
Mini Cheddars could be replaced with an Apple iPhone 12 Mini, while those who order Johnson’s cotton buds could instead receive Samsung Galaxy Buds Live.
Some lucky customers who buy Gnocchi will be given a Nokia 3.4 and a basic purchase of some freshly baked rolls could be swapped for a Motorola E7.
Tesco Mobile is surprising shoppers to show them some of the great things that happen when the worlds of supermarket and mobile come together.
